I have added my first book to my goodreads account, and that one book simply had to be Laura Whitcomb's A Certain Slant of Light. It was a wonderful story of love and hell all rolled up into a unique world that rose up off of the pages. If you liked Twilight (and I know you did!) then have a go at this one too.
